Roommates, TMZ reports that ‘BMF’ star Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory was arrested on March 14th on a grand theft charge for allegedly stealing 250,000 Richard Mille watch, leading to two counts of first-degree grand theft and a separate count of organized fraud. Following the arrest, Lil Meech quickly bonded out of Miami-Dade County Jail and was promptly released from custody.
According to the police report, Lil Meech allegedly walked into Miami’s Haimov Jewelers back in February and put a down payment on the Richard Mille using his $80,000 platinum Rolex, but then he allegedly failed to pay the remaining $200,000 balance and never returned the watch. Additionally, Miami-Dade police also accuse him of attempting to trade the watch for another Richard Mille at a different store location. Court records further reveal that Lil Meech posted bond the very same day he was arrested, over two months ago.

If you’re a fan of the Starz hit series ‘BMF,’ you’ll recall that the second season of the highly rated and fan-favorite series is currently shooting its second season in Atlanta, with a possible Fall 2022 release date. When the series was initially announced as being in development, Lil Meech made headlines, as he was handpicked by his father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and series executive producer 50 Cent, to play his father and tell his story of how he created the BMF organization.
Back in September 2021, just before the premiere of ‘BMF,’ Meech spoke to TSR exclusively and told us what it was like to take on the role of his father. “[50 Cent] moved me to LA, I had to do acting classes five days a week, two times a day sometimes. He made sure before anything, that I had two years of acting classes. He made sure I had that foundation before I could even audition to play the role of my father. When I first started, I’m not even gon’ lie, I did not know what I was doing. I literally was like ‘this is hard.’ I really didn’t think that I was great. [But] then I was better, I felt like I knew what I was doing, I was killing everything,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lil Meech appears to be very unbothered by his recent legal issue, as he has been posting regularly on social media and sharing sneak peeks on set of filming the upcoming season of the show.
