Rich Homie Quan instigated a short-lived dispute with Roddy Ricch when he called him out over a song feature. Taking to Instagram Live, Quan went off about his catalog compared to Roddy’s. Within a few hours–and after Roddy reacted online–Rich Homie Quan said they “settled it like men” and apologized.
“Just got off the phone with @roddyricch everything is smooth we settled it like men, and I want to apologize for my position at the moment and take this opportunity to show everyone that through conversation, we can have solutions.”

The settled dispute started after Rich Homie Quan revealed on live that DJ Drama said Ricch wanted RHQ off of the track FMFU. The song is part of Drama’s latest project, released on March 31.FMFU features Drama, Roddy, Gucci Mane, and Lil Wayne–no RHQ.
On live, the Walk Thru rapper seemed heated, explaining that no one was on the track when he did his verse.
“Even if you ain’t want me on the song, man somebody could’ve called my phone,” RHQ said.”
He mentioned that his verse was “harder” than Gucci and Roddy, but also clarified that he has “nothing against Gucci Mane, ’cause [he loves] Gucci.”
“I ain’t even met Roddy, I ain’t never met, Roddy. I ain’t even know he felt some type of way about me. But if he do, and since he do man, Roddy got that Box song. I bet his catalog can’t f**k with mine,” RHQ said. “And that’s on all the money he got in the bank, n***a I’d bet mine.”
Then, he challenged Ricch to what sounded like a Verzuz–going hit for hit and letting the fans decide.

As mentioned, Ricch reacted to the callouts shortly after videos of RHQ’sInsta-Live started circulating. He explained his perspective with a short Instagram Story post.
“@richhomiequan you too old for this internet sh*t but I ain’t even know u was on the phone. I sent Dram the hook and let them do the rest. Ain’t never been no n***g to stop nobody from eating especially a n***a ion even know. I’m around tho champ.”
After Roddy’s post, the men seemingly got on the phone and hashed things out. Rich Homie Quan apologized, but Roddy hasn’t hopped online with any updates since his initial reaction.
Meanwhile, DJ Drama hasn’t reacted to the short-lived dispute or the removal of Rich Homie Quan’s verse.
