Sha’Carri Richardson: ‘I’m Not Back—I’m BETTER’
Just one day before this race, Sha’Carri shared an Instagram message in which she acknowledged some realizations she’s experienced.

“I was wrong, and that’s why I was going through the things I was going through. I was experiencing the things I was experiencing. The pain that I was feelin’, that’s why all of [those] things were happening to me.”
Sha’Carri noted that she realized these points after embracing her faith again. The athlete added that she’s begun to “feel so much better” since embarking on this personal journey.
“I know that now because I had to return back to my faith. And I feel so much better.”
She then announced, “Y’all say I’m back. I’m not back—I’m better.” Period!
