More Details Regarding The Mother’s Request

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Alexis Adams is reportedly requesting $40 million to settle a negligence lawsuit against “various parties” whom Adams alleges are “responsible for her son’s fall from a Jersey City building.”

The defendants are listed as the building’s property owners, a construction company, and a window installation company, per The Shade Room. According to Radar Online, the defendants are particularly “listed as Pitch Perfect 74 LLC, Goldberg Management, and Carlos Machado.”

As previously reported by The Shade Room, Adams believes the apartment’s windows had “incorrect-sized guards.” Additionally, Adams thinks the “hazardous condition” allowed her son, Zohar Dillard, to fall fifty feet to the concrete from the window.

TMZ adds that Flo Rida is “not involved in the suit.”

More Details Regarding The Previous Reported Response Of The Apartment Building’ Manager

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online in June, Goldberg Management denied responsibility for the incident. The company reportedly maintains that it was “not negligent.”

Then, the company reportedly accused “Adams and other third parties” of negligence, which caused “the incident to happen.”

At the time, Goldberg Management reportedly asked the court to dismiss the claims against the company “immediately.” Additionally, the management company allegedly filed a countersuit against the other co-defendants “asking that they be liable for any damages awarded.”

More Information Regarding The Initial Incident & The Child’s Recovery

As The Shade Room previously reported, the six-year-old fell approximately fifty feet from the Jersey City apartment window in March. Toward the end of the month, reports surfaced that the child was hospitalized in the ICU.

At the time, it remained unclear whether the child was unsupervised when the incident occurred.

Dillard reportedly sustained “multiple pelvis fractures, left metatarsal fractures, grade three liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs.” As The Shade Room previously reported, Adams shared her anger while remarking on the incident and subsequent lawsuit.

“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I am devastated, angry, and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved in failing to take necessary safety measures,” the mother reportedly said in a statement.

At the time, it was additionally reported that Dillard would have to learn how to walk again and was placed in a “full-body cast” with “minimal motion.”

Flo Rida shared his thoughts shortly after Adams, per The Shade Room.

“Great day, thank you to everyone who reached out with their concerns and prayers for my son,” the rapper wrote on his Instagram Story. “He is getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall. I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation but I would appreciate that this remain a private matter.”

In May, it was reported that Flo Rida reportedly agreed to a child support package for Dillard. The package would reportedly cost him close to $500,000 a year.

Furthermore, the package would include $14,000 monthly child support, $2,212 monthly health insurance coverage, and a $300,000 escrow account. Additionally, the rapper was reportedly required to satisfy a one-time payment of $188,000 to Adams.

At the time, it was reported that the rapper requested monthly visits with his son. However, the court reportedly left the matter to be decided between Flo Rida and Adams.
