The video first appeared two days ago on what looks like a new account on TikTok. The profile—with the name Tyreshia in the bio—only has two videos: one of a book and another explaining this job interview scenario.

But here’s what happened according to the 22-second video sparking debates about appropriate workplace outfits. In the last two days, it has garnered over three million views and more than 33,000 comments.
The video shows a woman standing in an apartment giving a fit check. She was wearing black shorts cupped a few inches below her buttocks, a white fitted tee, and a cropped, long-sleeved white cardigan. She also wore glasses.
The woman stated that a recruiter asked if she wanted to change and “come back,” but says she refused. “I looked very neat and professional so no,” the woman wrote in her caption.
