GloRilla and Speedy Morman have been teasing US with their chemistry since their viral interview in October 2024. In clips from that chat, they both appeared to be cheesin’ and exchanging lil’ compliments. It was giving baewatch vibes as they talked about dating and their preferences, but neither of them fueled the internet talks too much –at first.

But, on Tuesday (April 1), they trolled social media users with courtside and online relationship drama! Then, on Wednesday, Speedy said their argument was an April Fool’s Day joke. So, WHICH is it? Are they in a relationship? GloRilla and Speedy won’t say. But here are all the cute public moments between them that have kept the baewatch vibes alive, starting with their pop-out to an NBA game.

Speedy & GloRilla Tease A Lil’ Courtside Drama
As mentioned, GloRilla recently kicked it courtside at the McDonald’s All-American Games, and she wasn’t the only celeb on the sidelines. Speedy sat beside her; Angel Reese was beside him, and Micheal Rainey Jr. was next to the basketball star. Reese later shared a video about her sitting with her “short kings.” It’s unclear if any of them PLANNED to be at the same event.
At another point, Reese shared a video of GloRilla and Speedy Mormon and seemingly joked about them “beefing.” Speedy played into it, saying, “Relationships have ups and downs. Meanwhile, Glo accused Mormon of being a “show out” and said the streets can have Speedy.
He rejected that, saying, “Nah, ladies, I’m taken. Listen, it’s us versus the world; I ain’t, I’m not worried about nobody else.” GloRilla was in the background talking about the other fishes in the sea, chile! She also told him, “Boy, it’s me versus me.”
On X (Twitter), he kept the moment going. Speedy wrote, “Announcement: I am now single,” and GloRilla replied, “You show out too much ian with dat internet a*s shit.” Then he circled back and replied, “April Fool’s Us Never Them,” with a selfie of him and Glo. But Is The Flirting Real, Though?!
Whether Sppedy and GloRilla’s flirting is real is yet to be known. The internet is still holding onto the on-screen chemistry in their viral interview. A week after the interview went live, he fake-addressed the questions about them linking or hanging out. In his hilarious reply, Speedy Mormon said:
“So I’m asking when’s the last time you’ve spoken to your Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. You see, cause it’s important we don’t stray cause sometimes we stray from his path, but we have to get back on it. GloRilla’s name is Gloria, and to that, I say to God be the glory. Her last name is Woods, so to that I ask would you be willing to dedicate your life to the great I am, the creator of all. Her middle name is Hallelujah, and I always say that when good things happen in my life.”
In October, GloRilla told Angel Reese on a podcast that she wasn’t flirting with Speedy in their interview. She blamed the “chemistry” on her personality type!
“I don’t know why they was saying that, I’m just bubbly,” GloRilla said at the 6:11 mark in the video below. “They’re probably gonna say that I’m flirting with you cause I really just be smiling … But I’ve been seeing that a lot, ‘Oh my god, y’all have chemistry.'” She later added that she doesn’t like “light-skinned” men even though Speedy is “a good-looking man.”
At the same time, it also wasn’t that long ago when GloRilla teased Speedy about, once again, “showing out.” In November, a fan of his shared a spicy, NSFW post on X, writing, “Speedy could never interview me, 2 minutes in, ima ask if he wanna conduct an interview between my legs-.” He replied, “Speedy Morman, investigative journalist.” Glo clocked him in the comment section, writing, “You showing out” and he apologized, “I’m sorry stinka.”

While we wait to see whether these two are playing games or taking each other seriously, let’s get into this hilarious rendition of their interview. Back in November, Ciara decided to recreate the clip. She had the internet rolling with her on-point voiceover video.
