Roommates, y’all know childhood memories hit a little different when you start connecting the dots later in life. Well, Reginae Carter recently had one of those moments, and somehow Solange Knowles and her dad, Lil Wayne, ended up part of a convo that had fans raising eyebrows without even spilling too much tea at first.

While chatting with Toie Ashanti on the ‘Heir Time’ podcast, Reginae Carter got candid about growing up around her dad’s relationships, admitting she actually had a soft spot for several of the women he dated, including Nivea—who she loved so much she begged to attend her birthday party and even dressed like her—as well as Trina and Solange, making it clear her memories were rooted in admiration and positive vibes rather than anything messy.
During the conversation, Reginae can be heard saying: “I was telling my friend the other day… how like I used to love Nivea,” she shared. “I begged for Niv to come to my party. Like I used to dress like Nivea for my party.” From there, she brought up Trina and Solange Knowles, adding, “Girl, I love Nivea. I love Trina. I love Solange… Yeah. He had a few. I love everybody.“

Folks wasted no time running to Reginae’s podcast Instagram comment section and ran it UP. Reactions came from every direction, with some joking that Wayne’s roster is just as legendary as his discography. While others questioned if everyone was talking about the same Solange. Well, Reginae’s comments come years after Bow Wow had the internet in a chokehold back in 2020 when he hopped on Clubhouse and casually claimed that “everyone knows” Lil Wayne and Solange Knowles used to date, instantly sparking debate online. However, neither Wayne nor Solange has ever confirmed those rumors, with Solange previously maintaining that their relationship was simply a close friendship despite years of speculation.
