Reginae Carter has been in the spotlight alongside her famous parents, rapper Lil Wayne and Toya Wright, since childhood.
From her early OMG Girlz days to reality TV, fans have watched her grow up while many still see her as “Baby Carter.” As she entered adulthood, Reginae remained open about her dating life, career, personal decisions, and more on social media.
That openness has brought plenty of love over the years, but it has also come with public opinions and scrutiny. Now, the 27-year-old is checking a few commenters after some had plenty to say about one of her latest posts.

Reginae Carter Claps Back At Critics Over Pole Dancing Video
On Wednesday, Reginae took to Instagram to show off her latest moves during a pole dancing class. She shared that she hadn’t been to a class in a while but was excited to be back. “I haven’t been in a while but she’s backkk! Im a lil rusty but I didn’t forget how to climb & land in that split tho,” Reginae wrote.
Comments quickly flooded underneath the post, with some bringing up her father, Lil Wayne, and even her younger brothers.
“I love her but sit down. You’re Tunechi’s aka Mr Carters daughter you don’t need to do this,” one commenter wrote.
Another added, “Wayne come get her.”
A third commenter wrote, “Your brothers gone see this & start brothering again.”
However, others came to Reginae’s defense and reminded critics that she is grown.
“This woman is grown now yall stop trolling like she still 10 get it Nae!!!!” one supporter wrote.
Reginae later took to her Instagram Story to address the criticism herself. She reminded followers that she is approaching 30 and asked people to let her grow up.
“Stop telling me you gone tell my dad! im about to be 30 years old! Yall need to let me grow If up!! Also I’m fully clothed and having fun with my friends. No kids. No n****. And just having fun. Go to the girls pages that give yall matchas and Pilates…. cause over here … imma live my grown a** life thank ya! Wayne can’t stop nothing”
She followed up with another message, adding, “Now tell em I said that!”
Reginae also shared older footage of herself from another pole-dancing class. For anyone unfamiliar with her interest in pole dancing, she explained that it is her favorite workout.

Reginae Carter Is Making Moves Beyond The Dance Floor
When Reginae isn’t showing off her dance moves, she’s outside getting to the bag. The young star has stayed busy building her brand. From brand partnerships to creating her own workout clothing line, Reginae is truly stuntin’ like her daddy.

She has even created a space to tell stories beyond her own. The 27-year-old launched her podcast, ‘Heir Time.’ The podcast highlights people who understand what it’s like to grow up in the spotlight or to have famous parents.
When introducing ‘Heir Time,’ Reginae explained why creating a platform for people with similar experiences was important to her.

From acting to business to creating her own platforms, Reginae continues to show there are many layers beyond the “Baby Carter” fans remember.
